Until a couple of
years ago, I had no idea that a whole world of artist existed who were
dedicated to creating delightful characters out of polymer clay, wood, wire,
and stuffing!
If you are anything like I was, you will be
fascinated to know how the pile of basic materials shown on the left can
become a smiling Santa, ethereal Sprite, or a thousand other personalities.
Each artist has a unique style and utilizes various techniques, but this
basic outline of the process will give you the idea of the time and energy
we put into bringing our little people to life. |
