| Meet Arnold!
He is busy "checking it twice" and getting ready for his yearly journey.
With list in hand he notes that he needs to check off one last item ~Teddy
bear!
Arny stands 20" tall on a 15 x 15 " finished wood base. His body is cloth over wire. The body is then needle sculpted to give realistic curves and shape to the figure. Sculpted from Prosculpt polymer clay, Arny's realistic depth of color and skin tone are a result of multiple layers and types of color added with great care. Sparkling blue eyes and a sweet expression are his hallmarks- with angora beard and round specs adding to his charm. He sports the classic "comb over" hair do. |

Sitting atop the hand made wood shelving unit is a sweet Teddy volunteering to join Santa on his trip. With hand in the air he is saying "Pick me!"

| Teddy is joined on the shelf by other wonderful miniature toys including a porcelain doll, football, train, jack-in-the-box, and many more! Additional toys are positioned on the base including a collectible Gund bear. | |||||
| The
overall look of the piece is a classic version of Santa- surrounded by toys
and wearing the red fur trimmed pants and black belt and boots that are such
an important part of the American version of the Santa tradition.
To achieve proper scale, micro suede was used to give a velvet look to Santa's pants. His shirt is a silk/poly blend with lavish detail in the stitching. The faux leather belt and boots complete his costume. Like all my pieces, Arny comes with a certificate of Authenticity and is signed and marked on his base. He was the first piece completed in the 2003 Collection year and will be a wonderful, classic addition to any collection or simply a wonderful new friend. |
