If he were a full,
standing figure, Jacob would stand a whopping 30" tall! He has a
wonderful, aged face. His laugh lines are well pronounced and his bright
green eyes give him the most joyful expression of any piece I have created.
It also seems that along with comb-overs, a well pronounced nose has also
become a trademark of my work- Jacob is a good example of that!
Jacob is showcased within a 22" flocked silk evergreen wreath. The wreath includes berries and acorns, deep purple ribbon, and is further adorned with miniature versions of our favorite childhood toys. A tricycle, porcelain doll, Gund Teddy bear, and elephant pull toy to name a few. |

Jacob is dressed in a gown of beige cotton with a stained glass pattern in
rich colors. His cloak is made from a fabulous crazy quilt fabric of
crushed velvet. The deep jewel tones are stitched together in with
large stitches of gold metallic thread. This
gorgeous imported fabric adds a wonderful kaleidoscope of color to the
piece. Jacob wears a garnet colored crushed velvet cap trimmed
in gold roping. Jake recently went through a bit of a transformation- he was given life like hands to replace the mittens he had been made with originally and also received a bit more clay and coloring around his cheek area. It was a face lift I wanted to get around to for some time. He was good before but is great now! |

Jacob's body
construction is a dowel and wire design that is very securely attached to
the metal wreath frame.
Jacob is lit with a set of "rice" lights- tiny colored lights controlled by a computer chip for many sparkling options! The unique style of display makes Jacob a wonderful addition to any Santa collection or a treasured part of your holiday display. SOLD- |
