| Thanks for
having a closer look at Benny. The fourth in the Seaside Santa
series, Benny has many unique elements that make him truly special. Benny is
a one of a kind original art doll. While there will surely be more in
the series, they are never duplicated with each piece having a distinct
look, scene, and story to tell. Benny is constructed with a wire armature under a cloth body which has been needle sculpted for a realistic shape. His hands, feet, head, and belly are all sculpted from Prosculpt Polymer clay. Attention to detail makes Benny a work of art. His wrinkles, finger (and toe) nails, belly button, coloration... from his head to his toes Benny is realistically and whimsically detailed. His clothing has been individually designed and sewn just for him. The Bermuda style shorts and peachy linen top make Benny one cool guy on the beach. |

Benny's pal "Sandi" is also a one of a kind sculpture by the artist.
He is made from paperclay with an over coat of real sand. His nose, hat,
and buttons are made from sea shells. Sculpted mouth and cheeks are
painted to add a rosy glow. Benny and Sandi are both completely removable from their 14" x 14" sand covered base. They lift off the base easily and can sit on their own giving the buyer a wonderful opportunity to display them in a wide variety of places. Seated, Benny measure about 13". If standing, his total height would be around 20". The year round appeal of this piece make him suitable for display regardless of the season. |
